First they want our dictionaries, directories, magazines and newspapers, then they wanted our eyesight and now they’re after our movements too. Google is getting set to take over our lives as it showcases the Google Talking Shoe at SXSW this weekend. Yes, a talking shoe.

In all seriousness, this isn’t being produced for retail, rather the latest incarnation of the brand’s advertising program Arty, Copy and Code. The “smart sneaker” is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, sensors and Bluetooth, allowing it to analyze movements and offer commentary on your day to day happenings, while posting it to Google+ to share with your friends.
