It’s better late than never! The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V will be released in stores on September the 17th, 2013 (US EST), with the GTA team claiming the latest installment is a “massively ambitious and complex game” and “simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require”.

Despite the disappointment this short four-month delay may have caused Grand Theft Auto enthusiasts, it’s promised that the unabashedly violent game will be worth the extra time. Expect to see the usual hallmarks including a “darkly humorous take on modern culture” set in the Los Angeles-style fictional city of Los Santos, available on Xbox 360 from Microsoft Corp. and PlayStation 3 from Sony Corp.
