Say whaaaat? The findings of a recent study published in the medical journal Addiction has shown that half of Australian teenagers don’t drink. The study looked at 1477 teens in 2001 and 1075 in 2010 and has noted a significant trend that moves away from drinking. So what are they doing? Drugs? Apparently not. Sex? Maybe.

Some theories as to why teens are making different choices now include that the current generation is “very focused on health and well-being and this is one step they’re taking to try and stay fitter and healthier“.

Well that sure is one way to make your parents proud.
