That’s right – we currently have some vacancies in our editorial internship program (and our hearts), and this is your chance to fill them.

Editorials interns come into the office one day a week to work on content for the acclaimmag.com blog, along with interviews and feature opportunities.

Of course, in return, we’ll reward you with experience, feedback, exposure, praise (ideally), a beer or two (definitely). If you’re thinking this sounds like an okay gig, let’s talk about what we’re looking for.

Successful applicants will:

— have strong written communication skills
— have an interest in (and knowledge of) the topics that ACCLAIM writes about
— be hard-working with strong attention to detail
— be reliable and consistent (no half-steppers please)
— be quick learners
— be focused and take their work seriously
— have their own laptop.

Applicants will be looked upon particularly favourably if they are familiar with Adobe Photoshop.

Duties include:

— working on content for the ACCLAIM blog
— some copy editing
— some image editing
— researching interview questions
— transcribing interview audio
— taking on interview opportunities (if you’re really capable!)
