Jason Segel will play author David Foster Wallace in a new film, The End of the Tour. Set to begin shooting next year, the film will be based on the novel Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself by Rolling Stone writer David Lipsky.

The story follows the two authors travelling across the US together to promote Foster Wallace’s 1996 novel Infinite Jest. Lipsky will be played by Jesse Eisenberg. Foster Wallace was particularly known for dense tome Infinite Jest before taking his own life in 2008.
