So it turns out Yeezus isn’t untouchable after all. That little altercation he had with a photographer Daniel Ramos at LAX in July has actually gotten him into some hot water, with reps from the LA Attorney’s office confirming Mr West will be charged.
The paparazzo had filed a lawsuit against West after he was allegedly attacked by the rapper, claiming assault, battery and negligence. Prosecutors say Ramos sustained injuries that required crutches and a cane-assistance but left it at a misdemeanour charge of battery and one of attempted grand theft (as West looked pretty keen to take the pap’s camera). The outspoken rapper is set to be arraigned on October 10.
