German manufacturer Leica Camera AG will continue its domination of the high-end camera market with the announcement of it groundbreaking new T-System.

The innovative new concept, launched in collaboration with Audi Design, displays all the attributes you would expect from a Leica with sleek minimalist designs and a solid body, manufactured from a single block of aluminium.

Technically, the purest design of T-System brings some innovative functions to the table in the form a portfolio of high-performance lenses, offering increased precision, versatility and intuitive handling. The simple layout concentrates on functionality, with capture and and playback modes controlled via a touchscreen display.

The Leica T is also the first system camera from Leica to feature an integrated wi-fi module. Pictures and videos can be wirelessly transmitted straight from the camera to your smartphone, tablet or computer, and can then be shared by email or Facebook via the free Leica T App.

The Leica T comes in four colours: melon yellow, orange-red, black and white and will be available from May 26 from authorised Leica dealers. Retail price is between $2,300 and $2,500 depending on lenses.
