Let Them Eat Cake made its debut in the lush surrounds of Werribee Mansion, just outside of Melbourne, on NYD 2013, offering up a pretty solid line-up of electronic acts including Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Theo Parrish and more.

And with the increasing trend of festival cancellation announcements, it’s nice to hear that some can continue to survive, as LTEC will make a return to the Mansion parklands this coming New Year’s Day.

Promising more high-calibre musical guests, visual artists and gourmet culinary options – including “Melbourne’s most acclaimed artisanal cuisine, cake and secret cocktail bars” – this is set to be another quality event, hopefully devoid of too much fluoro and denim cut-offs.

The official line-up is yet to be release but the official 2014 website launches October 1. Pre-sale tickets will be available to the super-keen later this month – register your interest at Let Them Eat Cake NYD – with general public tickets released on October 8.
