Star Wars: Episode VII is currently being filmed out in Abu Dhabi. One of the benefits of filming in this remote area is that director J.J. Abrams and crew are able to create real sets and props giving it that authentic feel of the original Star Wars films. In taking the story back to Tatooine, the film will ditch the CGI-heavy blue-screen sets of the prequel trilogy. The characters, sets and vehicle designs draws heavily on the original trilogy designer Ralph McQuarrie, who passed away in 2012.

While the makers of the latest Star Wars are keeping everything hush-hush, these photos were leaked to TMZ. Take a looks at some of the set photos above and head over to TMZ to view the full 45-photo gallery.
