A 25-year-old Melbourne man can count himself lucky as he narrowly escaped being hit by a train, when his car got stuck on tracks last night. It’s reported that the man’s GPS system actually directed him to turn onto the train tracks in Melbourne’s northern suburb of Coburg. After realising the obvious error, dude tried to reverse off the tracks, where his car got stuck and was in the path of an oncoming train. Police report the man managed to jump out of his car just before impact, after which the vehicle was dragged for 15 metres. So if you were late in to work this morning, you know what you can tell your boss – the computers are out to get us, one wrong turn at a time.
