I started getting emails about 6 months ago from a kid in Finland who wanted to come and do practical training (work experience) with me. My first response was to say thanks and politely decline the offer. He was quite persistent in explaining his experience and how he could help me out. He was starting to win me over….. I could use an assistant after all.

So I agreed to take him on, only half believing that it would happen. Finland is very, very far away, you see. A little further down the track and sure enough, he arrives. As it turns out he is man-sized (a little taller than me), a very helpful assistant, likes Wu-Tang and is really good at skateboarding.
