Ice cream fans rejoice. The man who launched the campaign to bring beloved Golden Gaytime into tubs has his mind set on two new genius ideas.

Jesse James McElroy, who set up the Golden Gaytime Ice Cream Tub Project (GGICTP) Facebook page and sent a letter to Streets asking them to produce the ice cream tub, is now campaigning to get two new products launched into the Streets range: ‘Add on crumbs’ and a Gaytime Cornetto dubbed the ‘gaynetto’.

While the Golden Gaytime ice cream tubs have been a resounding success and are sold out of most supermarkets they have been stocked in, there has been widespread calls that the tubs lack enough biscuit crumb. The ‘Add on Crumbs’ will “solve this problem” says McElroy.

Streets is yet to give any word on the product prototypes but have said they are open to fan suggestions.
