Now that our Team Player issue is out on the shelves, we can share with you an exclusive look at our ‘Half Time’ editorial shot by Ben Clement and styled by Carlos Mangubat – shot on location at Wonderbao.

The shoot draws extensively on the RES Denim range. The brand has had a historical affiliation with denim manufacturing industry for nearly a century with the establishment of Bradmill Cotton Mills in 1927, one of the earliest denim manufacturers in Australia. Fast forward to 2012 and Bradmill launches their own denim label, RES – and who else is more qualified in the field than those who’ve been producing it for decades?

This editorial draws from RES‘ current menswear range, drawing inspiration from the history of denim. From classic cut indigo, to heavy selvedge, to light wash, to slim cut dark denim – RES has all the bases covered. There’s also an appearance by a special one-off selvedge denim jacket that’s extremely covetable. Transcending its role as a staple item, RES’ jeans offerings become statement pieces in their own right. Stay tuned for the release of the full shoot in the next few days, and shop the look over at RES Denim in the interim.
