Odd Future’s Tyler, Earl and Jasper Dolphin’s in-store appearance in Sydney today attracted the attention of the riot police. Streetwear retailer Culture Kings was inundated with fans of the rap collective, leading police to cut the event short. A press release from the states that the “several thousand”-strong crowd snaked out the door the store and along George Street.

Culture Kings have issued an official statement:

“We were excited when Odd Future approached us about hosting an in-store. We’re big fans of their music and stock Odd Future Clothing in our stores. We’re very sorry to the fans who didn’t get to meet Tyler and the guys before police shut it down.”
