If you were an avid gamer in the ‘90s, you may remember (fondly or otherwise) the ill-fated game starring one of American basketball’s legendary players, Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq Fu was short-lived and frequently features on ‘Worst Games’ lists but that has not deterred Shaq from making a virtual comeback.

Nearly a decade after his first foray into game-land, Shaq stars in the mobile game Shaq Down. The game appears to be set in a post-zombie-apocalypse metropolis where Shaq aka “the justice bringer” and his flaming basketballs and deadly jump shots are apparently our only saviour. Don’t believe us? Check out the trailer video above. Shaq Down will only be available for mobile devices (both iOS and Android) for the moment and is set for release January 8.
