Short Film: Mission Chinese (NSFV)
Posted By Meisy Cheong | 21-Jun-2012WARNING: NSFV means “Not Safe For Vegetarians”. Do not watch this video if you’re vegetarian, faint-hearted or have an empty stomach…
See how I even put that in a huge, bold font?
Now that we’ve cleared that up, this is a fucking rad short film presented by clothing brand Freemans Sporting Club and Sunday / Paper. Reminiscent of cult asian cinema—the kung-fu/triad/crime films that we all love so much—Mission Chinese revolves around a chef and his reaction to those who disrespect his form of art. Technically beautiful, the film has it all in five short minutes: the heroes, villians, damsel in distress, violence, graphic imagery, food and dining and of course, sharp threads. Enjoy!
