File this under: (More) Things That Will Make You Feel Old. Super Mario Bros. is 30 years old. Yep, the enthusiastic Italian plumber has been jumping up and down on our screens for three decades, even if it feels like we only inserted that game cartridge yesterday. Anyone who grew up with the franchise will have a million fond memories in front of the television with Mario, Luigi, Peach, and co. but the enterprising folk at Mashable took the opportunity to bring the characters into the present day… and re-imagine them as hipsters, of course. Designed by the title’s Bob Al-Greene, the series depicts our old mates in various states of facial hair, side shaves, overalls, and plaid shirts—moustaches are obviously still present.
