Remember that time when EVERYONE in the whole galaxy thought Apple were about to drop the iPhone 5, but then they tricked us and dropped the 4s instead then laughed all the way to their Bank of Treachery? iPhone fever has once again taken a hold of the world, just like Bieber fever, only it doesn’t hurt us in the face.

This week, a few ‘leaked’ pictures of the new device surfaced, which got everyone a little bit overexcited before the technogeeks realised that it wasn’t actually a leak, but rather, some dude who came up with a rendered replica of what he envisions the phone to look like, based on all the characteristics that have been churning through the iPhone forums. The metal case-back, the slimmer lines/thinner body, larger screen, earphone jack and connector point reflect the ‘rumours’, with the matte black a nice touch. It’s actually a pretty sweet replica, but only time will tell how accurate it is with the rumoured launch date for the iPhone 5 being “this Fall”. Unless of course, Apple are in fact launching an iPhone 4sMKII…those cheeky bastards.
