Ever wanted to instantly create a ransom note that delivers an effective message and still looks aesthetically pleasing on your Instagram feed? Probably not, because that’s a weirdly specific desire, but now you can with by just typing your message into Type to Design. TtD is a web app which allows you to type any word and create a semi-original piece of typographic design.

The web app randomly pulls images from Instagram to form words you input into it by using pictures that have been uploaded as part of 36 Days of Type. If you missed that, it’s a social media challenge that pushes entrants to design a letter or numeral every day for 36 days.
