Unsigned Only, the international music competition which seeks to find fresh, unsigned talent, is here again. If you have been waiting to be discovered, put yourself forward and you could win up to $10K and one-on-one mentoring from a group of US record label execs.
The judges have just been announced and include industry players such as Iggy Pop, Eve, Run DMC, Faith Evans, Robert Smith (The Cure), Of Monsters and Men, and various editors from Rolling Stone, Paste Magazine, XXL Magazine and Spin.
Don’t be put off that the comp is run from the U.S, as four Aussies placed in the finals last year, with two actually winning their categories.
Categories this year are Adult Album Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Christian, Country, Folk/Singer-Songwriter, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop/Top 40, Vocal Performance, and Teen. All work must be original except for in the Teen and Vocal Performance categories.
So get writing, and submit your song here by March 13th 2013 to be in to win.
