As the release date for his new album Until the Quiet Comes creeps closer and closer, Los Angeles producer Steven Ellison (better known as Flying Lotus) has been featured in a mini doco courtesy of the Pitchfork team. The 16-minute video entitled Fly First shadows Flying Lotus during his time at Forcastle Festival and Pitchfork Music Festival. Lotus lets us follow his every move, treating us to footage of his live appearances and interactions with fans and fellow musicians. You also get to hear the man himself share his thoughts on weed, the music making process, and new stuff he has in the works. This is essential viewing for any Flying Lotus fan so do yourself a favour and watch the video above.
