Documentary ‘20 Feet From Stardom‘ is about the ladies whose harmonies make or break songs – yet they have stayed in the shadow of the stars singing them. Stars like Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger who appear in this new documentary film give props to uber talented back-up singers Merry Clayton, Darlene Love, Claudia Lennear, Lisa Fischer, Judith Hill and Vega.

This is a look into the lives of these women as they recount their stories, ongoing struggles to break it big, posing for playboy, cleaning houses and the struggle that is chasing the dream. Directed by Morgan Neville and produced by Gil Friesen, ‘20 Feet From Stardom’ comes out on June the 14th and you can watch the trailer above.
