The whole “lo-fi internet trap” movement kind of jumped the shark in 2013 thanks to online platforms such as Tumblr (IMHO), a safe haven for people who enjoy doing things to death and forgetting to never go full retard. Just as I was ready to an hero myself after seeing yet another GIF of some trill white girl twerking to animated Word Art, skate company Bronze decided to finally release their much anticipated Solo Jazz video to remind me there’s still reason to live on this planet.

Following up on their classic 56k video from last year, skateboarding’s best kept secret dropped their sophomore video featuring Stack Bundles, reappropriated PS One graphics, 240p video clip rips and other visuals that make up a reblogger’s wet dream. Bronze balances out the crazy visuals with some of the best skateboarding footage I’ve seen in recent memory, seemingly making a point of finding the most sketchy wallride spots imaginable (see 15:33).

I’m not too sure where this aesthetic will evolve into moving forward, something involving cats and porn if the history of the internet is anything to go by, but the two Bronze videos will be a relic of a period that I’m sure many will look back on, face firmly palmed.
