There is a long and rich tradition in horror, science-fiction and fantasy cinema that involves ordinary men putting on massive, heavy suits made from rubber, latex, wood and whatever else, for crazy-long hours and waving their arms around and acting like monsters. Men in Suits, a documentary by Frank Woodward, explores the fascinating world of “suit actors” who have animated such great characters as Godzilla, Predator, Robby the Robot, Alien, and more.
