Ah Wes Anderson, you have again managed to somehow make real life people look and act like fairytale characters. By the looks of the trailer, The Grand Hotel Budapest bears all the ingredients for a classic Anderson film; a quirky cast of unconventionally good looking people, colour blocking, Bill Murray, and a morally questionable plot that seems harmless and okay thanks to the refined soundtrack and pastel colour scheme. Even when you’re watching Concierge Gustave H [Ralph Fiennes] sleeping with his 84-year-old “friends.” US release date is March 7, 2014. Typically Fox Searchlight doesn’t care enough about Australia to give us a date yet, so keep your eyes peeled.
