The octopus is one of those weird sea creatures which incites both fascination and disgust in most people and this video pretty much explains why. Some enterprising folk from Japan filmed one of the cephalods in a tank and put it in a kind of Fear Factor situation by sticking it in a glass jar and screwing on the lid. But like something out of a B-grade horror flick, this octopus got pretty dirty about being shut in and subsequently used its gross (but obviously very handy) suction-cupped limbs to unscrew the top FROM THE INSIDE. Word of warning to anyone wanting to defeat an octopus by trapping it in a jar, you lose.
