Rihanna’s version of Karaoke is pretty much the deluded vision of what you think you’ll sound like when you’re drunk at 4am and take to the stage. Reality often dictates that you will forget the verses, stumble on stage and forget that super high note in the chorus. However, somewhere in New York, a bunch of karaoke bar goers were treated to an impromptu RiRi performance that transcended the usual horror of Karaoke. She smashed out No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” and King of Leon’s “Sex on Fire” with true abandon and seemed to entertain a slightly smaller crowd than she’s used to.
