A South Australian woman has faced court over an incident that occurred between her and her partner back in December 2013. The couple decided to explore the age-old question: Which hurts more—being cheated on or having your penis burned with a hair straightener?

District Court judge Paul Muscat handed Bronwyn Joy Parker a suspended sentence for recklessly causing serious harm to her partner at the time. The victim suffered third degree burns on both sides of his penis and may have to wait two years before it is fully healed.

The 22-year-old applied the unorthodox punishment to her boyfriend, after she found out he had been unfaithful, telling police she ‘only applied the straightener for a couple of seconds and thought it would only feel like sunburn.’ It’s safe to say, these guys are no longer in a relationship.
