When I started watching 80,000 strangers play Pokemon Blue, they had made it to Celadon City and into Team Rockets Gaming corner.

How 80,000 people simultaneously managed to get out of Pallet Town, win 4 Badges and evolve a Charmander into Charmeleon is beyond me.

As a kid it took me like an hour to realise that the way you exited your mom’s house in Pallet Town was by stepping through the little grey rectangle that represented the doormat. Now there are 80,000 people guiding one Red through a world of Metapods, Zubats and top percentage Rattata. Ain’t nobody got patience for that.
