This year’s XXL Freshmen Class has been a hot topic of debate between hip hop fans to say the least, I personally think it’s the weakest line-up they’ve put together since XXL started these covers in 2008 but I’ll let you be the judge for yourself. DJ Whoo Kid has released his 2012 XXL Freshman Class mixtape to commemorate this year’s newcomers, which features the first Australian ever in the form of Iggy Izalea, who also graces our issue 26 cover.
