He dropped 70K for this one, so you know it's going to be worth it

Danny Brown’s just-announced forthcoming LP Atrocity Exhibition, will be his first full body of work in nearly three years (and his fourth LP to date). Sitting down with Rolling StoneDetroit’s own said the new album’s sound reflects that of his 2011 breakthrough XXX which shows a move away from the electronic realm of 2013s Old. The seamless transitioning from one style to the next, is an example of his defiance to the industry, always looking to do things his own way and not be confined to a set form.

Danny has been putting a lot of work into this one, having spent a whopping 70k on clearing samples alone, stating, “A lot of people cheap. And that’s why their music cheap….I want to make timeless stuff, so you’re gonna have to spend a couple dollars.” With that kind of investment, and tracks which feature the likes of Ab-Soul, Earl Sweatshirt and Kendrick Lamar, fans can rest assured that the new LP is going to be worth the wait.

September 30 has been pegged as the release date, which will be around the start of a monster tour schedule through the states, as the Detroit native will be hitting just about every city in the country. Check the full interview here for more deets and insights.
