Fresh off the release of his debut EP Here, only a few months ago, young Philly-based beatmaker Ryan Evans drops his latest instrumental effort, broken axioms.

You can definitely hear Evans’ hip-hop influences throughout the EP, kicking off with 2 Chainz’s intro on the opening track Demigod. The whole album is more ambient or electronic than hip-hop, in my opinion, but I’m still feeling the vibe – it’s the kind of  R&B sound that you might expect behind a Weeknd or Drake vocal.
