Like some sort of elusive perfect playlist when your iPod is on shuffle, Sydney’s newest boutique festival OutsideIN announced it’s line-up yesterday:

Smoke DZA (USA)
Oliver Tank
HTRK (Aus/UK)
Flume
Shigeto (USA)
Africa Hi-tech (Aus/UK)
Jesse Boykins III (USA)
Melo-X (USA)
Collarbones
Thrupence
Polographia
Dro Carey

I can only think of one word for it: Damn. Sydney’s taste-making touring and managment agency, Astral People and alternative record label Yes Please! have combined some of Australia’s most forward-thinking artists along with some incredible internationals. With the soulful soundscapes of Shigeto, the multi-influenced Melo-X, the party anthems of Flume, the carefully crafted electronica of Thrupence and Oliver Tank and the hazy hip-hop of Smoke DZA,  you can expect OutsideIn to:

“…achieve what every good musical event should be: A brilliant lineup, beautiful weather, tasty food, refreshing drinks, great company and of course, unbeatable music with a bespoke line up of international future-stars to appear over three stages.”

More information at www.outsideinfestival.com and early bird tickets go on sale on the 9th of August here.
