In the mix of dark bars, spinning vinyl and heavily caffeinated drinks, Broken Playground announces the venues and dates for this years Australian DMC Championships.
Beginning this year on the 22nd of June, Broken Playground, Store DJ, Rane, Twisted Pair Audio and Monster Energy have teamed up to bring the 2012 DMC Australian Championships to a bar in your homestate. The idea is to find Australia’s best DJ, starting with each state. The entrants this year are allowed their choice of digital vinyl system and mixer to create a 6-minute long set across two turntables. The finals this will be held on the 18th of August in Melbourne and the winner flown to the UK in September for the world-wide final. Blatantly way more exciting that the Olympics.
