Whilst it’s cover art looks like something a disturbed boyfriend might leave on your pillow after a break-up, Collarbones’ latest single Missing is a slightly sinister love song that mixes elements of R&B and glitch-hop with haunting lyrics.

Their debut album 2011’s Iconography was astoundingly written by two artists divided by 1150km. Adelaide’s Travis Cook and Sydney’s Marcus Whale met on the internet in 2007, united by a love of digital music and laptop culture they formed one of Australia’s most bright young electronic duos. This single is taken from their second album, the upcoming Die Young that is due for release in September. Ahead of this, they are bringing their live show to the East Coast throughout June, touring with electronic-up-and-comers Bon Chat, Bon Rat.
