Opening Wednesday November 28 is an exhibition of street portraiture brought to you by blog Collecting Melbourne. The site has teamed up with Melbourne Music Week and UK photographer (based in Melbourne), Alexandre Schoelcher, who will be capturing as many characters involved with Melbourne Music Week as possible: artists, musicians, festival-goers and venue owners. From Cherry Bar to the Mercat, through to Section 8 and Bennetts Lane, he will be documenting the fest as it happens.

On completion of the fest, Alex will be putting all these images together, printing, mounting and projecting them, and exhibiting his collection to celebrate the MMW that was with an opening party that will be held at Rue Bebélons from 7pm, November 28. There will be tunes courtesy of Dj Cazeaux O.S.L.O, free drinks and great pics.  The show will be curated by Arthur Tanzi (Let Me Out! Project – The Abbotsford Convent).
