The Vic Bar and Aviary Hotel have announced the return of the annual Park Street Party, which in the space of three short years has become one of Melbourne’s most beloved events in its busy cultural calendar.
This year’s lineup is headlined by Mad Decent and Jeffrees head honcho Paul Devro (who is also fronting Carbon 2014), his fellow US-blooded labelmate Dirty South Joe, Missil (France) and Mayavanya (New Zealand), plus a slew of local favourites including Swick, Mat Cant, Tomderson, Little League Bounce Club and Aspartame. With acts playing across a mammoth 13 hours over different three sound systems (indoors and outside) from midday, plus some of Melbourne’s graffiti royalty spraying live on 250m of Park St’s exterior wall, it’s safe to say the third annual Park St Party is the undisputed turn up destination this weekend.
