Kicking off this Sunday 31st March, 2.00 pm, at the Shadow Electric at the Abbotsford Convent, is a new initiative Remedy. It aims to raise awareness and get some dollar for The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and other damn-good causes.

Presented by Melbourne’s finest purveyors of electronic music, there’ll be tunes by local artists (Amin Payne, Able 8, JPS and Mat Cant among many more), rad raffle prizes (courtesy of AIAIAI, Old Mout Cider and the Operatives, um, yes please!) and a Sunday session with a good cause, with all proceeds going to the ASRC.

The ASRC are Australia’s largest provider of aid, advocacy and health services to asylum seekers. They are indepedent and non-government funded, and they rely on community donations and volunteers to do their work. Check out more info on them here.
