The Falls, the iconic New Year’s music festival stretching across three states, just ramped up its gut-buster of a lineup.

On top of a schizophrenically curated list of live acts including Run the Jewels, Alt-J, Tycho, Todd Terje and John Butler Trio, Falls have announced a string of local talent for Lorne and Byron tribes.

Performing at both festival venues is high-positivity pop-hook Sydney DJ KLP. Lorne will be getting party Japanese Wallpaper, brass band Horns of Leroy, GRMM, Kilter and up-and-comer UV boi فوق بنفسجي. Meanwhile, Byron Bay announces exclusive performances by Hannah Shepherd led dreambeat project Airling and Brisbane psych-rock band Moses Gunn Collective.

Anyone who doesn’t have their greasy mitts on a ticket for either Byron or Lorne are probably going to be bummed out over this news since both shows are now sold out. Tasmania’s Marion Bay venue is still up for grabs though so get on it, kids!
