If you haven’t taken out shares in the British multinational alcoholic beverages company, Diageo, maybe it’s time you had a think about it, because Diddy certainly has. The rap mogul’s partnership with Cîroc Vodka is reportedly the major factor behind his $50 million step up since last year to a now staggering $700 million net worth… pause for affect.

Combs has become notorious for making recent shout outs to Forbes after paying out the publication back in 2012 in Rick Ross’s ‘Another One’ for their (according to him) inaccurate representations – “Fuck the Forbes list lets tell the truth I ate more” – and then last year congratulating the team for “learning how to count right.”

Speculation has mounted however over Diddy’s next venture, Revolt TV, which he calls “the first network that’s being launched in the social medial age” and what will make Puff the first billionaire rapper.

The top five was rounded out by Dr. Dre and Jay Z who swapped positions thanks to what can only be assumed to be the rise of Beats by Dre followed by  Birdman and 50 Cent.

The Forbes Five: Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2014:

1. Diddy — $700 million
2. Dr. Dre — $550 million
3. Jay Z — $520 million
4. Birdman — $160 million
5. 50 Cent — $140 million
