Perth’s closest-thing to a super-group just got signed to Future Classic and just in time for the release of their debut EP. HWLS, a side-project of electronic maestro’s Ta-ku and Kit Pop have been making some serious waves in the dance-music world this year with a string of banging releases that perfectly encapsulate the unique brand of Australian EDM that has taken the world by storm.

Their EP, which you can stream below, brilliantly toes the line between chill electronica and deep-bass exploration – a combination that has the potential to yank the more laid-back side of electronic music from it’s natural habitat in our iPods and introduce it to dance-floors around the world. The duo even got the nod for approval from Diplo who invited them to mix things up on his BBC1 radio show Diplo & Friends.

Future Classic are generously releasing the HWLS EP as a ‘pay-as-you-want’ digital package and exclusive 12” through Bandcamp.
