As is now the trend in the Kardashian-West household, yet another premiere was dropped exclusively on Ellen Degeneres’ talkshow. The music video for Kanye West’s heart-wrencher ‘Only One’ was played briefly on Ellen, which can now be viewed in full on Yeezy’s website.
The Paul McCartney-assisted ballad expectedly features Kanye’s adorable daughter North, hanging out with her dad in a home-video style treatment filmed out in some damp, foggy wilderness…directed by Spike Jonze, of course. As if the song isn’t already full of feels – written from the perspective of Ye’s late mother as a lullaby to her granddaughter – watching the usually brash West interact with his little girl is almost too much for me to handle.
