As you might know, Bobby Womack passed away last week. The singing legend dubbed ‘The Soul Man’ heavily influenced not only the soul genre but hip-hop as well. His songs have been used as backbones for tracks like Jay Dilla’s ‘Hiding Place, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Cut You Off’, and Kanye and Consequence’s ‘I See Now’. In response to his death, 9th Wonder has put together a special tribute called Farewell to the Soul Man which you can download here or listen to below.
