Melbourne music prodigy Gab Strum aka Japanese Wallpaper teams up with Brisbane vocalist Airling to write and produce another signature ambient joint in ‘Forces.’ Signalling a first look into the 18 year old multi-instrumentalist’s hotly anticipated debut EP (scheduled for release in May) Forces’ undulating production builds expertly to match its soaring vocals while maintaining a mature minimalism which doesn’t overpower Airling’s tone.  Holy Holy’s Graham Ritchie and Big Scary’s Tom Iansek jump on the track as studio engineers with Ritchie appearing on guitar. The resulting smorgasbord of established and upcoming Australian talent makes for some intensely easy listening which is bound to have you feeling some type of way.
