With questions surrounding the unity of Young Money circling as a result of Lil Wayne’s mini-meltdown last week, this new track from Nicki Minaj’s upcoming The Pinkprint proves the label’s top three are still thick as thieves. ‘Truffle Butter’ features Nicki alongside her Young Money brethren Lil Wayne and Drake and while the boys stay up on their pillow talk, Nicki reminds us of her favourite position in the music industry – on top, of course.

“I’m still the highest-selling female rapper, for the record…I ain’t gotta compete with a single soul.”

And if you think it sounds a little more ‘dance-y’ than usual, that’s because the beat is a chopped up version of London house producer Maya Jane Coles’ track ‘What They Say.’ Not as in-your-face as the singles we’ve been gifted so far but it’s just as catchy and will be right at home in the middle of a summer afternoon drink/dance session.

The Pinkprint is set for release on December 15.
