I love hearing people rap over non hip hop songs (see: Thomas the Dank Engine). It’s the best of both worlds. So, of course, it was to my delight when I found out that Wiz Khalifa rapped over my favourite song by my favourite blue-wave artist/husband Mac DeMarco. Wiz takes the dreamy instrumentals from DeMarco’s ‘Chamber of Reflection’ and drops a couple of sweetly melancholic verses over the top to create ‘Smoke Chambers’.

Dig it.
