Indie music prowess runs in the Williams bloodline. Wavves frontman Nathan Williams and his noise-step-producer brother Kynan linked up to form a team called Sweet Valley – a play on the classic teenage white-chick lit series Sweet Valley High. And even though the Sweet Valley sound reminds us nothing of feathered blonde ’80s hair, it is noisy, creepy, mysterious and fun – just like a classic night in Cali.
