Video: Nas Discusses The Lost Frank Ocean Collaboration

MTV recently caught a few minutes with Nas who spoke briefly on the mysterious ‘lost’ collaboration between himself and Frank Ocean, on a track that the interwebs are calling No Such Thing As White Jesus. In the brief interview above, Nas makes a point of saying he never mentioned the name of the song and that he and Ocean started talking about teaming up long before anyone else. There doesn’t seem to have been a riff (Twitter would’ve told us), and according to Hit Boy, the collaboration was actually lost in one of those hard drive fuck-ups. Hope to hear something from the pair soon, with Nas’s final words being ‘it would’ve been a big record if it ever came to light’.
