Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Australian DJ Ajax, Adrian Thomas, who was tragically killed on his 42nd birthday yesterday after being hit by a truck in Parkville.

It’s believed Ajax was hit by the truck on College Crescent shortly before 1.00 am, passing away at the scene.

Ajax was a member of the electro crew Bang Gang, who were recognised for their hit compilation albums and club nights, as well as being the founder of music label and management company Sweat It Out.

Ajax’s impact on the nation’s dance music scene and his support and encouragement for local talent will never be forgotten.
