Wu-Tang’s Raekwon sat down, accompanied by a couple of lady friends, and spoke to Those NB’s about his love for New Balance.

He talked about the first time he discovered NB’s hidden in his tennis playin’ uncle’s closest ‘at night they would glow! As a kid I felt like that was the hottest sneaker in the world. To have a glowing sneaker!’ and goes on to talk about how he ‘wore them mostly with sweat pants or good jeans, a leather jacket and a Yankee on. Mostly had the colors of the Yankees. It made it easy to be on a grown level.’

By the end, we’re convinced the Wu-Tang wordsmith and sneakerhead has an honest love and admiration for the classic sneaker. (What a surprise!)
